Kitchen bar lighting is very similar to kitchen island lighting. In addition to the other general and task lighting present in the kitchen, pendant lights are often hung over the bar to provide more intimate lighting. Kitchen bars are used for entertaining and often for casual family dinning.

In this example, three miniature pendant lights are hung above the bar. These pendants provide additional kitchen bar lighting. Other lighting in this kitchen comes from recessed lighting and undercabinet fixtures.
